CHAMP

Congregational Health Alliance Ministry Program

CHAMP (Congregational Health Alliance Ministry Program) is a partnership between two healing communities: Baptist Health South Florida and area congregations of all faiths. The partnership focuses on the promotion of health and the integration of spirituality and health through an intentional program of health screenings, health education, support groups and spiritual support for persons with health challenges.

 At Concordia we:

  • Organize a health ministry team (Health Council)
  • Identify the health needs in the community
  • Plan health screenings and health education events
  • Plan health promotion programs
  • Provide spiritual and practical support to the sick
  • Establish support groups
